Our Mission

  • To educate members and students about the mineral resource and related industries through informative and educational programs

  • To foster public awareness of the economic and technical interrelationship of mineral production with our national economy and the public good

  • To promote social, environmental, professional, and personal responsibility in the mining industry

  • To increase the involvement of women and other underrepresented groups in these industries by facilitating networking and mentorship between members and professionals.

UA WiM is meeting this Friday 9/20! We are having a speaker from FLS talk about their company and share industry insight. Make sure to stop by and get some valuable information and free food!
